Welcome to the website of Tony Earnshaw, writer. Please browse the pages and find detail of his novel, his plays, poems, and other work including links to license holders for performance.
Tony Earnshaw has been writing for many years and writing has been his main focus since 2008. Prior to that Tony used his writing skills within his local community for a number of years including writing the Millennium Revue, The Man That Gave The Year Its Number.
Tony’s poetry has also been used for the benefit of communities further afield. Following a sponsored bike ride in Kenya, Tony’s imagination and heart was captured by the charity, New Ways, and he went on to publish a book of poems sold to raise funds for this charity.
After a spell writing for amateur festivals, and winning various awards for new writing, Tony moved into writing for the professional theatre and teamed up with a group of other writers, directors and actors to form Damn Cheek Productions. His plays have been performed in London and around the UK including the Edinburgh and Buxton Fringes and enjoyed a run off Broadway in New York.
